Worship services
Our worship services run for about one hour. We follow a set liturgy which includes singing, Bible reading, prayer, a thank offering and a message.
In the morning service, the sermon is based on a passage of the Bible. In the afternoon service,
the sermon is typically based on the Bible as summarised in a portion of the Heidelberg Catechism—a confessional document based on the main teachings of the Bible. Learn more about our beliefs here.
Singing
We sing from the Book of Praise songbook which includes all of the Psalms as well as a variety of Hymns. Extra songbooks and Bibles are available at the entrance. The greeters are happy to help you find what you are looking for.
What to wear
In general, many members of our church choose to dress formally or semi-formally. This choice is traditionally seen as a reflection of honour to God.
Expectations for children
We offer childcare for babies and toddlers for the duration of the service. All carers are volunteers from within the congregation. Young children often join in the church service as well.
Fellowship after the service
Please join us after the service for conversation and fellowship. Coffee and cake are supplied by church members on the first Sunday of every month.
